NMI Partners with WMB to Promote New Media Version of
Reflecting God

Reflecting God has traditionally been a quarterly devotional publication from Nazarene Publishing House…that is until World Mission Broadcast (WMB) got involved. WMB has taken the content from the daily Reflecting God devotionals and made them available, free of charge, in new media formats (social media sites, cell phones, podcasts, etc.). New daily content is available for download from both www.ReflectingGod.com and www.nazarenemedia.org. Here is how you and your church can use it:
 

• Use Reflecting God as a traditional radio program in your community. Each daily program is only 60 seconds in length and accessible to your local radio station.
• Use Reflecting God as a podcast feature on your church’s or district Web site.
• Share Reflecting God through your social media, and point your congregation and mission councils to www.ReflectingGod.com, where they can join others in community interaction about living a holy life.
• Encourage your congregation to receive Reflecting God delivered in audio or text directly to their cell phone or e-mail.

 
WMB’s goal for Reflecting God is to foster discussion about what it means to live a holy life in the twenty-first century. When Daniel Ketchum reviewed the Web site and met with Brian Utter, who directs the initiative, Dr. Ketchum immediately saw the value and need for NMI to be sure churches were aware of this impressive, new, free resource. The English version is up and running. Plans are underway to add Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Korean versions soon with additional languages coming in the near future.
 
Demo CDs of Reflecting God were included with WMB’s 2010 promotional materials. Some churches have contacted us to say they have already begun working with local radio affiliates to air Reflecting God devotionals. Churches are providing links and direct downloads from their own Web sites.
